William Hearne, aged 12, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hearne, died at the home of his parents five miles south of Terlton Wednesday of lock jaw. He fell from the barn loft at the McElroy ranch last week and ran a nail in his thigh. It was not considered dangerous at that time but blood poisoning set in Wednesday morning and Wednesday evening he died. His remains were laid to rest in the Terlton Cemetery. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of the community in their loss.
