Walter Taylor died in the home of his father, J. W. Taylor, 1 mile east of Terlton, Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock of typhoid fever. Walter had been in bed with the fever for two weeks and was on the way to recovery but .....perforation caused his death.
Walter E. Taylor was born at Bear Creek, Polk County, Missouri 5 October 1887 and came with his parents to Pawnee County about three years ago. Everyone who knew him intimately speak of his honesty and integrety and he was a model young man in every way.
He was a member of the Terlton Camp Number 855, Woodmen of America and leaves to his mother a policy of $1,000 in that society. He leaves J. W. Taylor, father, Elizabeth A. Taylor, his mother, and Minnie Taylor sister to mourn his departure.
His remains were shipped to his former home in Missouri and were buried in the Cemetery at Bear Creek yesterday.
