William Banks, Jr., of Kellyville died at his home late Sunday evening
at the age of 54.
Born in Creek County on October 20, 1926, he was employed by Newmark
Construction Company in Sapulpa prior to his death. He was a member
of the Free Holiness Church of Kellyville.
Banks was married to Margie Taylor on November 6, 1950 in Ft. Smith.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, a daughter, two brothers,
five sisters, and three grandchildren.
Funeral services are pending and will be announced later by Owen Funeral
Home.

Funeral services for William "Bill" Banks, Jr., will be at
2 p.m. Wednesday at the Free Holiness Church in Kellyville with reverends
David Taylor and Vernie Edwards officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Audie Mayberry, Junior Lovell, Don Pulley,
Jim Richison, Kenneth Richison and Vernon Auld.
Committal prayers and interment will be accorded in Sunrise Cemetery
at Kellyville under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Margie Banks
Margie Banks went to be with the Lord on Oct. 15, 2004. She was born
March 30, 1930 to Robert and Ada Taylor.
Margie resided in the Kellyville area most of her life. She married
Bill Banks on Nov. 6, 1950.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four brothers Troy,
Melvin, Thornton and Bob and two sisters Juanita Smith and Julie Willing.
She is survived by her son and his wife, of Kellyville; her daughter
and her husband, of Kellyville; three grandsons; one granddaughter;
two brothers; eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She attended the Kellyville Holiness Church where she gave many hours
to working at the sale barn in years past and coordinating many church
dinners. She was loved and known as "Mamaw" to many in the
church.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother, a fun and caring grandmother
and was very proud of her great-grandchildren. She will be missed by
us all.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18, 2004 at the Kellyville
Holiness Church. Burial will be at Sunrise Cemetery under the direction
of Smith Funeral Home.
