CHESTER CUMBEY

Chester Eugene (Gene) Cumbey, 58, of Kiefer, died Tuesday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm, Friday, at Kiefer First Christian Church with Dean martin officiating.

Burial will follow at South Heights Cemetery in Sapulpa under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

He was born Sept. 17, 1934, in Fayetteville, Ark. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Kiefer, a retired crew chief for American Airlines and a Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He married Marilyn Elskamp on Nov. 27, 1954, in Claremore.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Cumbey.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; father, C. W. Cumbey of Kiefer; daughter, Deborah Lankford of Glenpool; and two granddaughters.
