Updated: 06 Sep 2009 October 23, 1989 DON LARUE Don L. LaRue, 62, Sapulpa died Sunday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center. Services are scheduled for 10 am Tuesday at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ray Hawkins officiating. Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Gardens. He was born June 18, 1927, in McAlester, and served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II, was a Baptist and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. LaRue owned LaRue’s Auto Electric and served as a Creek County Deputy Sheriff from 1969-1981. Survivors include wife Betty of the home; sons Terry LaRue of Sapulpa and Johnny LaRue of Denton, Texas; daughters Donna Cochran of Sapulpa, JoAnn Pollard of Denton and Skeeter Horath of Sapulpa; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The family will headquarter at 325 S. Linden. |
