Mr. Onia Rosson Sr., 66, Kellyville, died Thursday at St. Francis Hospital,
Tulsa.
Services will be 2 pm Monday at South Heights Baptist Church with the Rev.
Archie Rivers officiating.
Burial will be at Sunrise Cemetery, Kellyville, under the direction of Smith
Funeral Home.
Mr. Rosson was born June 1, 1921, in Okemah, OK. He was employed at Indiana
Glass Company for 17 years.
He was an Army veteran from World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a
member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and was a Baptist.
He moved to Kellyville 18 years ago from Mississippi.
Survivors include wife Betty; sons Clifford, Bobby and Jerry all of Kellyville,
Larry Wayne of Beggs, OK, and Onia Jr. of Tulsa; daughters Myrtle Hoppe and
Susan Crone both of Sapulpa and Debbie Daugherty of Bartlesville; brothers C. T.
of Preston, OK, Arthur of Stillwater; sisters Ina Wallace of Beggs and Tisha
Smith of Farmerville, CA; 27 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.

Kellyville, Okla - Services for Mr. Onia Rosson Sr., 66 of Kellyville, was held
Monday at 2pm at South Heights Baptist Church.
Mr. Rosson was born June 1, 1921, at Okemah, Okla. He was employed at Indiana
Glass Company for 17 years. He was an Army veteran from World War II. He was a
Baptist.
Services were officiated by Rev. Archie Rivers, assisted by Rev. Richard Hughes.
Burial followed at Sunrise Cemetery, under direction of Smith Funeral Home.
There was a military service by the Air Force from Tulsa.
Music was provided by South Heights Baptist Choir and Larry O'Neal.
Life History was recited by son, Onia, Jr.
Survivors include wife Betty Rosson of Kellyville, sons Clifford, Jerry Dale,
Bobby all of Kellyville, Onia Jr., Tulsa, Larry Wayne, Beggs. Daughters Ann
Hoppe, Tulsa, Debbie Doherty, Bartlesville, Susan Crone, Sapulpa. Brothers C.T.,
Preston, OK, Arthur, Stillwater. Sisters Ina Wallace, Beggs, Tisha Smith,
Farmerville, CA; 27 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
Preceded in death by granddaughter Melanie Kay Rosson, May 29, 1979.
