Margaret
Shadrick Canfield " Muna " born to Drury and Myrtle (Dugger)
Shadrick Oct. 2, 1907 in Britton, OK and departed this life
Sept. 15, 2004. She was 17 days short of her 97th Birthday.
Margaret grew up in the Okla. City area and attended school at
Capitol Hill High School.
She met Lloyd Everett Canfield at a box supper. They married
on Jan. 18, 1927. Margaret & Lloyd resided in the Okla. City
area all their married life and operated the Canfield Dairy Farm
for over twenty years until Lloyd's death. Lloyd & Margaret were
the proud parents of eight children, Kenneth, Donald & wife Lula
Faye of Seminole, Roy Lee & wife Lois of Okla. City, Dee
McAllister & husband Vernon of Okla. City, Shirley Wishon &
husband Gene of Luther, Earl (Butch) & wife Carol of Meeker,
Faye Denton & husband Tom of Arcadia, Tommy & wife Mary of
Prague. Nineteen grandchildren, thirty one great grandchildren,
nine great great grandchildren and many other step grandchildren
"Sixty Seven descendants in all", and numerous nieces & nephews.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd in 1966,
her infant son Kenneth, all of her siblings, Earl, Jewel, Roy,
Audrey, Carl and Jo Faye and
her great grandson Sean Allen
Crockett. The family would like to thank Frontier Hospice
family, nurses aids, social workers, Pastor Terry Jones, all the
wonderful people for their care and support of our "Muna".

Muna, You had the gift of laughter, You had a love for fun,
You turned the rain clouds inside out, You always found the sun,
You showed us love, You have shown us the beauty of life.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, 9/18/2004
at the Arlington
Cemetery. Barnes & Johnson Funeral Home
01-21-2009 per Arlington Cemetery, Lloyd Everett Canfield is
buried there. I have not found his obit

Loyd Canfield. 60. of Rt. 4, Midwest
City, died Thursday of a stroke at a local nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Arlington
Memorial Park Cemetery directed by Hahn-Cook, Street & Draper
Funeral Home.
He was born at Butler, June 15, 1907, and came to Oklahoma
City in 1922 from Texas. He operated Canfield and Sons Dairy and
was a retired foreman at Robberson Steel Co.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret, of the home; four sons.
Donald L., Choctaw; Roy Lee, 821 NE 67; Earl A., Meeker, and
Tommy C., Spencer; three daughters, Mrs. Delores McAllister,
3401 E Forest Park Dr.; Mrs. Shirley Fryrear, Spencer; and Mrs.
Fay Crockett, Tulsa, and a sister, Mrs. Carol Baker, Amarillo.
