Coleta Elkouri , 81, born December 28, 1922, in Byron,
Oklahoma, died March 22, 2004, in Oklahoma City, OK. Coleta was
employed at Tinker Field during WWII. Later in her life she was
employed with Globe Oil, Tidewater Oil, and Getty Oil from which
she retired.
Her father and mother, David
and Adel Elkouri preceded her in death.
She is survived by 3 sisters, Lucille Cox,
Margaret Harris,
and Victoria Finley; 2 brothers, Jim Elkouri and Frank and wife,
Edna Elkouri ; 1 niece, Michelle Compton; 2 nephews, Richard Cox
and Michael Harris and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, March 25,
2004, at Smith & Kernke Chapel, 1401 NW 23rd, with interment to
follow at Fairlawn Cemetery.
