Victoria "Vickie" Finley passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at Epworth Villa. She was 90. She was born Dec. 24, 1917, in Byron, OK, to David and Adel Elkouri . She graduated from high school in Snyder, OK, and then attended Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha. Victoria went to work for the Internal Revenue Service in Washington D.C. during World War II. After the war, she returned to Oklahoma City and continued to work for the I.R.S. until her retirement. She was an avid Bridge player and enjoyed traveling.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of more than 50 years Merl; one brother, Kameel Elkouri ; and one sister, Coleta Elkouri .

She is survived by two sisters, Lucille Cox and Margaret Harris; two brothers, Jim Elkouri and Frank Elkouri and wife Edna; one niece, Michele Compton; two nephews, Richard Cox and Michael Harris; and many friends.

The funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Thurs., Jan. 31, 2008, at Smith & Kernke Chapel, 1401 NW 23rd Street, with interment to follow at Fairlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Smith & Kernke.
