Sam
Francis Huston , age 64, of Choctaw, Oklahoma was born on
February 9, 1940 to Sam and
Audra May (Wood) Huston in Oklahoma City, OK and passed from
this life on June 24, 2004. Mr. Huston lived in Choctaw all of
his life and retired from the OKC Fire Department on April 11,
1985. He was member of the retired Fire Fighters Association and
Midwest City Golf Association. Sam worked for the Choctaw Creek
Golf course for 11 years as a Marshall. Mr. Huston married Ruth
Agnes Houser on November 22, 1980 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He is survived by: wife: Ruth of the
home; a son: Sam Francis Huston Jr. and wife of California;
daughter: LaDana Sue Maly and husband John of Choctaw, OK; a
stepson: William David Houser and wife Cecilia of Anchorage,
Alaska; 2 step-daughters: Rene' Sinclair of Oklahoma City, OK,
Wendy Houser of Choctaw, OK; 11 grandchildren, 2
great-grandchildren; 2 brothers: Herbert Huston and wife Sue of
Choctaw, OK, Archie Huston and wife Veronica of Choctaw, OK; 2
sisters: Naomi Carney and husband Paul of Rudy, Arkansas, Peggy
Perez and husband Manuel of Choctaw, OK, numerous nieces and
nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents,
a brother, Josh Huston and a
sister, Jean Hunter. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00
p.m., Saturday, June 26, 2004 at the Barnes & Johnson Funeral
Home Chapel. Interment will be in the
Elmwood Cemetery, Choctaw,
OK. Services are under the direction of Barnes & Johnson Funeral
Home, Midwest City, OK. Barnes & Johnson Funeral Home,
Midwest City.
