Pitzer, John "Johnny" Charles, Jr., died of injuries
sustained in a motorcycle accident in Colorado, on Saturday, May
17. He was born in Oklahoma City, on July 24, 1950, and attended
Harding Jr. High, Putnam City, and graduated in 1968 from
Wentworth Military Academy in Missouri. He attended OU and
remained an avid fan. Johnny had lived in Colorado for the past
6 years and was in the oil and gas right-of-way and abstract
business.
Johnny was preceded in death by his father, John
Pitzer, brother, Bill Wilson, and his nephew, Kyle
Wackerly. Survivors include his mother, Julia
Ball Pitzer of OKC; sister and brother-in-law, Jim and Sue
Wackerly of Yukon; nephews, Brian Wackerly of Florida; and Jeff
and Laura Wilson of Dallas.
Johnny loved his family and friends, his job, crossword
puzzles, living in Colorado, and his Harley. He lived a full and
happy life.
Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 24, 2003, at First
Lutheran Church, 1300 N. Robinson, OKC, with burial at Memorial
Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First Lutheran.
