WORKMAN posted by Judith Good on Friday, May 25, 2001: WORKMAN, Emanuel was living in Jackson Co. in 1930 at the time of his death. He was b. 1856 in MO to Richard and Elizabeth Workman. Informant listed on death certificate shown as Roda Workman of Eldorado. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated. Would also like to know the name of cemeteries in and around Eldorado where he might be buried. Thanks.

Any information would be helpful. William Brock married Latisha? abt. 1900, and looking for the family of Warner Lanning, Willis Lanning, and Ray Lanning, and also Edie (Grubbs) Lanning married to Stephen Lanning, and Pannell's from South Carolina and Mississippi, settled in Oklahoma. Also William Brock died in Jackson County, and Ray Lanning in Olustee, and Stephen and Edey Lanning died in Eldorado, Oklahoma.

June 1898 died June 1977) This family lived in Altus, Jackson, OK from about 1890 until the 1970's. They were in Texas from 1881-1890 possibly in Navarro Co.

BERRY posted by John Berry on Thursday, July 26, 2001: My father, Alvis Kenneth Berry (went by Kenneth) found land he wanted to buy near Elmer OK in 1910. He returned to IL to secure financing and returned to OK 15 Apr 1910. He lived with neighbors,whose name I believe was Bailey. His bride to be, Nellie Muggee met him in OK City and they were married on 11 Aug 1910. His brother drowned on 4 Jul 1912 and he had to sell the land and return to IL. He left for IL the Tue before Thanksgiving in 1912 (He voted for Wilson in the Presidential election in OK.) Could someone look up the legal description of his land. Thanks for your help. John

CANNON, HUDSON, HULLUM posted by Leanora Houwen on Monday, August 13, 2001: I am looking for information on Annie (CANNON) and John HULLUM. They lived in Blair, Ok all their married life and possibly before. I am not sure where they were born. Annie had brother Charles Ira Cannon that moved to Texas in the early 1900's and Robert F Cannon who also moved to Texas but don't know what year. They were all children of marriage between CANNON AND HUDSON. Don't know first names.

ARNOLD, HOLLINGSWORTH, KENT posted by Meg Gentry Bookout on Sunday, August 26, 2001: My gg-grandfather Joseph William KENT died in Olustee in 1914. I am looking for KENT descendants to share info with-I descend from Joseph's daughter Ella Mae, who married Herbert John HOLLINGSWORTH in Baxter County AR in 1908. I believe Joseph is buried in Olustee, since he is not with his wife Hannah Frances "Fannie" ARNOLD KENT in Gassville AR, where she died in 1933. Two of their sons were living in Olustee when Joseph died-I don't know if they stayed or moved elsewhere. Any KENTs from Jackson County?
