BEATTY Carolyn Marie, 52, passed away on January 19, 2001. She was born to
Harry and Kathryn Bernice (Miller) Beatty in Harrah, OK, on May 27, 1948. Carolyn moved to Choctaw at the age of 6. After attending school, she worked for the State of Oklahoma and Tinker Air Force Base as an administrative clerk. She loved to read, do handwork, work as a volunteer for the Choctaw Church of Christ, and work with the church quilters.
Carolyn is survived by her mother, Kathryn Bernice Beatty , of Choctaw; sister, Marilyn Howze and husband, Stephen, of Choctaw; brother, Roy Beatty and wife, Lee Anne of Norman; nephews, Carlin Brown of Choctaw and Rusty Beatty of Norman; aunts, Velma Eckert and Florence McVey both of Harrah, and Florence Jilge, of Nicoma Park; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Harry Beatty in 1996,
and brother, Garry Beatty in 1964. Services will be held at the
Choctaw Church of Christ Tuesday, January 23, 2001, at 2:00
p.m., with burial at the
Choctaw
Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would like
donations to be sent to the Search Program.
