Harry E. Beatty , 77, of Choctaw , passed away Mar. 27, 1996. Born June 3, 1918 in Idabel, Ok. to Burton Wm. & Nora Ann (Croce) Beatty . He served in the Army during WWII.
Harry married Kathryn Bernice Beatty June 5, 1947 in Shawnee and they moved to Choctaw in 1954. This union was blessed with 4 children. He was a member of Choctaw Church of Christ.
Harry is survived by his wife, Bernice of the home; a son, Roy Beatty & wife, Lee Anne of Norman; 2 daughters,
Carolyn Beatty of the home & Marilyn Howze & husband, Stephen of Choctaw ; 2 grandsons, Carlin Brown & Rusty Beatty ; 2 sisters, Florence Jilge of Nicoma Park & Ellen Smith of Shawnee & several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son,
Garry Don, in 1964. Services will be 2 p.m. Fri., Mar 29th, at the Choctaw Church of Christ. Burial at
Elmwood Cemetery.
