Edith McGuire Dies Monday
Mrs. Edith Mae McGuire, a lifelong resident of the Sapulpa area, died Monday at Bartlett Memorial hospital. She had been ill six weeks.
Mrs. McGuire was born in Sapulpa Dec. 7, 1917. She was a member of Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are the husband, Clark, of the home southwest of Sapulpa; five sons, Larry and
Phillip both of the home, Charles and
Leon, Sapulpa, and
Ronnie, Kellyville; four daughters, Marla, Edith, and Nelda of the home, Mrs. Karen Smith, Sapulpa and 10 grandchildren.
Also surviving are the mother Mrs. J. H.
Lawson, Sapulpa; two brothers, Kenneth Lawson, Sapulpa, and Bobby Lawson, Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. Janie Jackson and Mrs. Gerald Dobson both of Sapulpa.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Pentecostal Holiness church, Kellyville, with Rev. Vernie Edwards officiating. Interment will be in Sunrise cemetery. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Clark McGuire Dies Monday
Clark L. McGuire, 57, 504 S. Muskogee, retired pipefitter, died early Monday at Bartlett Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
Born May 17, 1915 in Avant, he was married July 25, 1935, to Edith Mae Lawson at Kellyville. She preceded him in death Jan 6, 1969.
He was a Free Will Baptist.
Surviving are five sons, Charles Lee of Mounds and Leon, Larry, Ronnie and Phillip of Sapulpa; four daughters, Mrs. Jack Smith, Mrs. Edith Elaine Dodd and Nelda Lynn McGuire, all of Sapulpa, and Mrs. Marla Jean O'Neal of Tulsa; 13 grandchildren, two brothers, Clint of Kellyville and Clarence of Eufaula; four sisters, Mrs. Thad Kirk and Mrs. Raymond McCarty, both of Sapulpa, Mrs. Bill Finn of Phoenix, Ariz, and Mrs. Dave Morton of Highland, Calif.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Pentecostal Holiness church in Kellyville with the Rev. Vernie Edwards officiating. Burial under direction of Smith Funeral Home, will be in Sunrise cemetery.
The family will headquarter at the Jack Smith home northwest of Sapulpa.
Clark McGuire Rites Changed
Funeral services for Clark McGuire 57, 504 S. Muskogee has been changed by family request to Thursday at 3 p.m. at the Pentecostal Holiness church in Kellyville, with the Rev. Vernie Edwards officiating.
Burial will be in Sunrise cemetery under direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Bill Head, Walter Kissey, Kenneth Lawson, James Jackson, Melton Jackson and Rufus Jones.
