This obituary database contains obituaries related to Choctaw County, Oklahoma residents and families.

These records come from various resources such as newspapers, funeral information, memorial folders, etc.
These records have been compiled by OKCHOCTA, the Choctaw County Genealogical Society, and various other contributions from individuals.

When available both an obituary transcription and the original source  (ie: newspaper clipping) have been included.
Source information, contributor & transcriber details are included in the obituary transcription, if known.

Please note that this database displays only the information listed in the obituary itself as it was originally written. If it is not listed in the obituary, then it is not listed in the results.

While we may have more information than this on a person or even know some of the information that is missing in the results (ie: such as a birth date), this database displays ONLY the information in the results as it was written in the obituary.
