Dale Cemetery, Pottawatomie County
One of the cemetery's managers, Mr. R. A. Bly phone (405) 964-2270), gave me a list of who was buried and their lot numbers. Then I spent a lot of hours gathering and entering the dates and comments into the Excel file. The manager's list was a great help, so you might want to give him some credit too.
You can include my e-mail address and say that if someone wants me to photograph their ancestor's monument and e-mail the photo to them, I will gladly do so. I only live 16 miles from the cemetery and have a digital camera.
From I-40, take the Hwy 102 South exit and make an immediate turn to the west onto SE 45th Street. That is only less than a block, the first street. The cemetery is less than one half mile west of Hwy 102 on the right or north side of SE 45th. For any who don't know, Dale is west of Shawnee a few miles and east of McLoud a couple of miles.
