Hi , I am also searching for any HARDEN surname history in Arkansas. I have little to go on, searching for the parents of Dessie Marie HARDEN, & any other information on her and/or information leading me to her past.
Dessie Marie Harden was my grandmother on my father's side. I know she married John King HARKEY. They lived or lived around Spadra, Arkansas.
Dessie died in Tulsa, Ok. she had remarried to and her last name now would be Dessie Marie Lovell.

Later about 1913--1920 George Pinkney Barnhart married an Avis Thompson said to be native american she had a child so Thompson may have been a married name. Seeking a marriage record or any records relating to this happening they were later divored after 1920 and she returned to OK. I also have Howard family going back to England. Appreciate any help.
