FILSON, Edward Date: 5 Sep 1999 Searching for information on, and descendants of, Edward FILSON, born October 1873 in Kansas or Kentucky, son of Samuel FILSON and Martha Jane KISSICK/McKISSICK. He was a cab driver and by 1910 had moved to Seminole County, Oklahoma. He married Jena STONE who was born about 1891 in Tennessee, daughter of Carrie (_____) STONE. Carrie was born about 1857 in Georgia and was living with Edward and Jena in 1910. Also need information on Edward's brother, John Stockwell Harmon FILSON, born November 1875 in Kentucky or Kansas. He was a teamster in Oklahoma City in 1900. By 1910 he was living alone next door to his brother Edward in Seminole County, Oklahoma. Also searching for a younger brother, Golla FILSON, and sister, Cenia FILSON, who were in Oklahoma City, but not found in Seminole County so far. FOWLER and Mary HEATH FOWLER. Mary Ann died March 29, 1938. She had the following children. 1. William Meeks b. @1875 to Mary Ann & Robert MEEKS who abandoned them. William MEEKS is said to have been shot to death in front of barbershop in Maud, Okla. He left at least 1 dau. Rose b. Sep. 10, 1895 in Ark. May be more ch. 2. Clark Thomas b. Ethel BRITTEN believed to be only surviving twin b. after 1887, Ark. to Mary Ann FOWLER BRITTEN and Henry BRITTEN who was an older widower with older children who did not like Mary Ann. Mary Ann and Henry divorced. Mary Ann then m. a Mr. TUCKER (first name unknown). Do not know if she m. him in Ark. or Okla. Do not know if divorced or if he died. FOWLER, Thomas Laborn Date: 23 May 2000 Searching for my father's family. Thomas Laborn Fowler married to Rachael Knight. Thomas' father was William Fowler and his mother's name was Liza Jane. I believe Rachael's parents were Robert and Grace Watterman Knight. Rachael was born in 1915 and died in Seminole in 1987. Thomas was born in 1911 and died in Pixley, CA. They had the following children: Laverne, Rudy, Tommielee, Jimmy, Sandy, Shirley, Jackie, Jerry("Rex" or "Pete"), Jeanie, Beth, & Bruce. FRANKLIN, Benjamin Levi Date: 21 Jul 1999 I have two sets of FRANKLINS that I have been trying to trace. My great grandfather Benjamin Levi FRANKLIN who married ? and had 5 daughters and 2 sons. The first 6 children from his first wife?: Thelma, Edna Jewell, Vera, Edith and Robert. He then married Laura Mae Parsons and they had one son John Benjamin. Do not know what happened to the other childrens mother.
