PHILPOTTS and HUFFINES Aug 27, 1998 I am looking for help in finding records of my grandma's school years in the Sasakwa area. She says she went to Greenleaf? School in the 1920's, and her father, Robert Lincoln "Link" HUFFINES was possibly on the schoolboard there. The teachers of the school were supposed to have been Stella PHILPOTTS and her husband, Philip PHILPOTTS, if her memory is correct. Grandma has Alzheimer's and I am trying to help her find her history before she can no longer remember or enjoy any of it. Does anyone remember or have records of any of the HUFFINES family in the area? Also, she has mentioned a family possibly from the same time frame and nearby area named FORD. Another family possibly named WHITE, who leased land to sharecroppers. If anyone knows of any of these people I've mentioned, please write to me at jespiddlin@crosswinds.net Renee - jespiddlin@crosswinds.net
