Looking for any information on the William Lee and Mary Catherine Russell JEFFRIES at the time they were in Venita, Craig Co. they had one daughter Blanche and the second daughter Lena was born in Venita in 1900.. any thing on this family that will help me get over this solid brick wall would be great

I am interested in looking for the biography written about William Mc Kenzie Coats a prominent land owner and business man in Welsh Okla . He was born March 19 , 1860 Cooweescoowe I. T. near Adair Okla died May 13, 1932 Welsh Okla. He married Sarah Frances Brundridge in Newton Co. Mo June 6, 1880.

I am not related, Example only. Rosa A., daughter of John H. and Mary Matisson (Frantz) Morris, born February 24, 1893, near Welch, Craig Co, OK. Educated in the Cherokee National schools. Married at Centralia, Craig Co, OK, June 2, 1912, Fred L., son of Robert Lee and Lulu Jackson. They are the parents of: Carwel Lee born April 21, 1914, and Norma Jennie born Mar. 3, 1919. Mrs. Jackson is a Methodist and a member of the Eastern Star. Mr. Jackson has been a banker in Welch, Craig Co, OK for nine years and is at present interested in oil production. Mrs. Jackson is the great-great granddaughter of Pathkiller, who was Principal Chief of the Cherokees at the beginning of the nineteenth century. His daughter, Elsie, married Eldrige, and their eldest child, Margaret, generally called Peggy, married Jesse Morris, and they were the great grandparents of Mrs. Rosa A. Jackson.

I am not related, example only. Monroe Amory, son of Monroe Calvin and Lucy Lowrey (Hoyt) Keys, was born February 21, 1870. Educated in the Male Seminary. Married March 25, 1905, Martha Ann, daughter of Henry and Emma Jane (Daniel) Donnelly, born March 11, 1874, educated in the Cherokee public schools and Worcester Academy. They are the parents of: Wahnie, born March 7, 1908; Emma, born December 17, 1909; Amory, born January 16, 1912; Jane, born December 5, 1914, and Clun Keys, born February 10, 1917. Mr. Keys is a member of the Holly Clan. His Cherokee name is Clun-tee-sta. He is a farmer near Vinita, Craig Co, OK.
