Census look up request   446

Lookups posted by Towner, Kay on October 01, 2002 for , JONES, TOWNER, HUDSON

Could some one do a look up for me?? PLEASE :)
I am looking for Minnie M. Towner/Jarvis was supposed to be in Craig county about 1913-1925. I slashed the last name because as story goes she married a Towner and divorced him and later married a Jarvis. She would have had a young son with her named Robert. I believe they lived around Bluejacket are. Story goes Robert nad Minnie didn't live to far from his 'girlfriends house) who later became his wife. Charlotte Hudson.
I also need to know when she died and where she is buried.
Any help or infor willmost helpfull and appreciated.
Thanks geokay@midway.net

I am trying to find information for my grandmother who was born in Welch, Craig OK on August 27, 1905. Her name was Glessie Hays and had a twin sister named Bessie Hays. Their parents were James Robert Hays and Eliza Gay Meglasson Hays. The parents came from Missouri before the twins were born. We are trying to locate when she and her sister were baptized in the Catholic church. She believes she was about a year old.

Can you tell me why no one is allowed to look at that list?? My grandmother, Lettie marie Haughn Parker, died in that hospital on 1/12/1931, leaving 6 little children orphans, I was more or less told it was a "paupers grave",does that make sense , would it be there?? It most likely then would be "unmarked" does that mean there is not a name on even a small little marker ?? any info appreciated

Does anyone have a Craig county History book or any resources that would have info about the following people?:
I just learned that the daughter of James Thomas Hemphill and Isabelle Lasiter, Anna Isabelle Hemphill born 20 Sept. 1871 died 1925 Vinita, Craig co, OK. I estimate that she married about 1889 Samuel Ulysses CLANTON. He died 16 Dec 1943 perhaps also in Vinita, OK. Did they have any children? Are they buried in a cemetery in Vinita or in Craig county? Samuel Ullysses Grant CLANTON was born 26 AUG 1871 Barry Co., MO died 16 DEC 1943; the 8th of 12 children of Edward "Ned" CLANTON b: 25 APR 1832 in Trigg Co., KY & Martha DODSON b abt 1837 in MO.

Query posted by Callsup on December 11, 2002 for , BENNETT, FRY, ZUNDELL, HODGES

These people are my husbands relatives. I have been to the White Oak Cemetery, but it was before I got into genealogy. As soon as the weather is good I plan to go back with my mother-in-law, Dorothy Maxine Fry. I have a letter that my Mother-in-law wrote when her Uncle James came to Owasso to visit her and granny Zundell. Josephus Bennett was Maggie Elizabeth Bennett's father. She had two children by Jim Tallon, but according to Uncle Jim Bennett he didn't know this, because he said that Josephus was his father instead of Grandfather. Madge Ola Bennett, my husband's grandmother, told my mother-in-law the story. A funny tidbit of news. She did marry Homer Storts, but they didn't get along. One day she said to him, "You see that cow out there in the pasture, you can have that cow if you will just take her and go on down the road", and he did.

Re: Timpson Chapel Church Cemetery   461A

Query posted by Richards, Debbie on December 18, 2002

Jason, my sister is Jimmie and since she posted this, she has been to busy to follow up. But I would love any information you have on James and Arie. The reason we have inquired is to see if there was any relation between Bear and James. Bear's mother, Ainse (on the 1851 Drennen Roll) took in a Caty Horsefly and since we have articles on Bear and James, we were wondering what the connection was. According to info I have, James mother's name was Ga-u-ga-ey. Bear's had a wife listed as Ga-u-ga. So maybe this could be a connection. But I also have information too. Do you have the Timpson Chapel Cemetery book? They are listed in there. I have articles also on James. I see that your name is Terrell, I have listings of them too. So if you would like any of the info I have, you are more than welcome to it. You can e-mail me at debrtwo@msn.com
