A confusion has arisen; Anna on the 1930 census is a widow and on the 1940 census her husband age 72 is living and a widower, with him is daughter Mary, age 37, who is a school teacher in public school, plus a lady Maud Hickerson, age 60 is living with family, she is a sister to Anna and all in family from Missouri, Montgomery County. Any obits for this Davis family?

Just wanted to let u guys know that I called about my great-aunt and got all her records they had on her. (intake questionnaire, doctors conversation with her) VERY interesting stuff. This was in 2006-07. I'll get the papers and see who I talked to so maybe you guys can talk to that person. She was so helpful. I didnt have to jump through any hoops. just had to be a relative. She was comitted in the 20's and died there in 1976.

Looking for the final resting place of my grandfather, Henry Lovell DeBerry who died at Vinita Eastern State Hospital in 1921, I have the information from the hospital of his record, But they didn't know where he was buried. I understand there was a Cemetery on the grounds with a number of unmarked graves on site. He was born in Clarksville,TX in 1862

I just saw your post. I just recently started searching for a cousin who was in this hospital 1920-30s can not find ant details of why or when he died. If you can post your information on who to talk to, his family would be so grateful.

for HANNEGAN
|
I am not looking so much for records of my GGrandmother, Margaret Ann Hannegan, commonly called Maggie, as I am confirmation that this is where she spent her last days. We know she was committed in the early 1900's and supposedly died in 1918. But since she was removed from the family by a doctor and put into a mental hospital, her husband was unable to locate her. The IOOF finally did find her only to learn that she had died 2 years before. The family has been looking for the site of her burial ever since. Any suggestion?
