If you will e-mail me at silasjones@sbcglobal.net, I have a copy of all burials at Fairview prior to 2003, and I will see if I can locate his grave number for you.

Charles Edward Hathaway, d. 1901, Vinita 1008
|
Query posted by Mcd, Bonnie on August 21, 2008
for HATHAWAY
|
I have found information online that has Charles Edward Hathaway, b. 1821, Mass., was in Iowa for 1870 and 1880 census. He died 18 Sep 1901 in Vinita. I didn't find him in the 1900 Heritage Quest census. He was married first to Leonora or Leona and second to Margaret. Children may have included Frank, Carson, Levi, Freeman, Jerome, Clara, Erwin or Irvin, and Winnie. I would like to find a cemetery listing for Charles or any information about this family.

According to the information on the Craig County website, Welch Cemetery is west of Welch. Can anyone tell me how to get there from Welch? What route is it located on? I will be coming in from the direction of Vinita.

A few years ago I wrote to ESH and requested info about my GGmother. the answer I got was, send a request for info and state what relation I was and why I wanted the info. It took about 4 weeks but I got her records and a copy of her DC. I don't know if they still do this but it is worth a try. Good Luck. Address is Eastern State Hospital Attn. Mental Records Dept. P.O. Box 90 Vinita, OK 74301
